Fromthe FAQ at: http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/SuSE-Linux-E-FAQ-2.html
"How do you pronounce SuSE?
It should be pronounced like "Soose". The "U" sounds like the "oo" in
"moose", the last "e" is spoken like the "a" in "at". But in general it is
not very important to pronounce it correctly, as long as it is clear what
you are talking about. "
So I am still think, it should sound like the women's name Suse? Like
"sue-ah"?

One other pressing concern - how does one pronounce SuSE?
I think it is pronounced like the women's name Suse.Like Sussie but without the "e" on the end.
hate to even get involved in this but ;-)
The company is German so I'll assume that the trailing E is pronounced (as it usually is when speaking German), and probably sounds more like:
Phonetically: Zooz-a
Although I have a German email address I am American (if that matters to anyone)..... that should blow my credibility amongst the Euro community
Flame me, I have thick skin :-)
