in the Samba docs, they call it 'roving profiles', i do believe. never done it, just saw it in the docs.
Also.. If you look at the Windows 95 Resource kit about roving profiles, you will see a section that describes how to enable those profiles on servers that are not conforming to WinNT or Novell standards. This is of course pointless since Samba sort of emulates NT, but there is also a brief section detailing how to enable them for an NT server..
