You did - take care of an article for a package Novell has decided to give maintenance to no longer see: http://wiki.opensuse.org/index.php?title=SaX2&oldid=14388 - move the article back to the main namespace - delete every information about the status of maintenance
Because they are simply not relevant. The mail from Egbert is about further development of SaX2 and the usage of it as default Xorg configuration tool of openSUSE. They are not about the maintenance of the package sax2 in the openSUSE distribution. The announcement even says: "...It is still shipped and installed by default...". There is no need to install a package from Saschas home directory or of his "fork" on github. SaX2 has a package and a development project on berlios and everything.
Henne, sax2 is not anymore part of openSUSE 11.3,
It's still in openSUSE:11.3 says osc. Ah it just builds sax2-tools. It fooled me! 8)
Okay this changes everything. I moved the SaX2 article into the Archive namespace now where it belongs and re-added the warning.

For now I think you can use your time (especially Henne's for the sake of the community) better than discussing over how many, when and why redirects - may we (=members of this list) discuss this issue when time is not so pressing? And I think there should be at least an link to this discussion on the according discussion page in the wiki. I had already ask about the 'right' namespace for this article in the 'big' mailinglist: - # Re: [opensuse] Where has the graphics card and monitor adjustmenticon in YaSTgone?, pistazienfresser (Sat Jul 10 12:19:33 GMT 2010) http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse/2010-07/msg00267.html and futher on. Maybe we all could have saved some time if I would have add an link a few days earlier - I thought the introduction and the links in the article to openFATE etc. were clear enough, sorry.
