I would like to hear your opinion on this article: http://en.opensuse.org/File_System_and_disk_speed_issues
It describes disk write test using dd that needs 4 GB of free space, which I don't know how will end if one has lesser.
Overall it looks to me like someones cut and paste operation without much idea what belongs to topic and what not.
I found it looking for uncategorized pages.
This brings up the question, do we have policy what to do if someone has comment (objection, disagreement) on some article.
I don't know of specific opensuse policy on that subject. several ways exists: * use the discussion page if your don't know for sure what is running * edit the page itself is you know definitively there is a mistake * add an "info" warning if you think this tip could be problematic. If you think it's reaaly dangerous, call for help here as you did :-) my own 2 cents :-) jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos
