Mmm... this doesn't make much sense, booting anything is dangerous, it could be a virus. This is what they are trying to protect, people booting unsecured things. Once a malware boot code in a CD boots it can do lots of damage to a computer.
That's becasue I said it's possible they change it the next months. MS is considering to launch a total new toolset to protect their installed system. I'm speculating now, they trust their toolset enough.
