This one is expected. Is the reason the mplayer plugin is in its own subpackage (and because mplayer is too big of a dependency)
If somehow the user is able to get a RPM providing /usr/bin/mplayer the package will be installable and fully functional.
Then recommend it? You can also supplement mplayer, which had the advantage that it would be installed when you have mplayer and qmmp installed.
But I can also implement some whitelist in that check.
It doesn't work at all without mplayer (and I don't know if the code handles the case of not finding it). So it's not a recommendation but a hard requirement. If that whitelist could be implemented I could keep the more correct dependency. But certainly it should have a Supplements: packageand().... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org
