Then recommend it? You can also supplement mplayer, which had the advantage that it would be installed when you have mplayer and qmmp installed.

But I can also implement some whitelist in that check.

It doesn't work at all without mplayer (and I don't know if the code handles the case of not finding it). So it's not a recommendation but a hard requirement. If that whitelist could be implemented I could keep the more correct dependency. No, I have not - only for things on the DVD I can check why they are there. I could emulate a drop though in patching out the package from the meta data and run an installation check for the repo. It needs a build fix you mean.

Yes, it needs fix as in ruby part of bindings swig stop providing global zypp methods. I just don't have much time to look at it. I think that noone use such bindings, so feel free to drop it and if someone is interested, then he must at first fix it. Josef
