a écrit: I just installed openSUSE 10.2 on an Amilo M7425. Suspend2RAM works fine but Suspend2Disk / Hibernate don't works. The suspend-process stops and the last I see is:
Preparing hibernate... suspend: Snapshotting system Same problem here on a HP Omnibook 4150B. Only solution is a hard power-off. Nothing in the logs. I installed a new suspend package which was on the suse-server which claimed to have a "-v" switch fonctioning, but to no avail.
When I change to in-kernel suspend, it stops with "restoring highmem"
Funnily enough, when I change to APM, suspend works, and also with "init=/bin/sh". But with APM the machine won't poweroff anymore, and /bin/sh is not really a productive environment.
Sounds a little bit complicated. :-/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-mobile+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-mobile+help@opensuse.org
