I just upgraded to final release KDE 4.3 and network manager no longer switches to the wireless icon when I'm connected to a WLAN. This was working in all the release candidates just fine. It only displays information for wired connections. Attached is a screen shot showing PC connected to wireless, but network manager only showing status for wired connection.
Doesn't work nicely for me either since updating yesterday. But you should note that the KDE4 KNetworkManager is *not* a part of the KDE 4.3 release. It's on it's own schedule. The knm4 packages available via openSUSE Build Service repositories are svn snapshots of unreleased stuff - and should be judged as such. Afaik Will is aware of the issues, and I'm sure he's frantically hacking away, maybe a better package is already making it's way through the OBS. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
