Hi, Jesus, what a discussion. Some of you should be a bit more flexible. As I remember, the problem was, that now KDE 4.2 is in the factory.rep and will be replaced with 4.3. And then, where to get 4.2 because the next oS will not be finished? If nobody want 4.2 in the stable.rep, just create a 4.2 under the factory- thread and a 4.3 also. Elsewhere, if 4.3 starts to come up, 4.2 is no more available from the suse-reps. And, yes, if you think it's not stable enough to install it on openSuSE right before the next release, yeah, just put it to the trash. Maybe this will be the right place then. So, where is the problem? SCNR. Am Mittwoch, 4. Februar 2009 schrieb Eric Springer:

Ciao.
The upgrade process is far from smooth. And the expectation of users when installing OS stable (11.1) is that you'll not have to worry about updates other than bugfixes and security updates -- not have your whole environment yanked from under you.
If you're into that sort of stuff -- try factory =)
