The plasma panel seemed to crash and I have not been able to get it back. I am yet to find a particular command to start the panel and wonder if I haven't done something to make it go away. In any case I would appreciate any hints to get it back.
Alt+F2 , plasma, Enter
Yea I thought of that. No joy. System is Opensuse 10.3 X86_64 and pretty vanilla. When I start it from the command line this is the output: X Error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) 8 Extension: 156 (RENDER) Minor opcode: 4 (RenderCreatePicture) Resource id: 0xc1 findServiceByDesktopPath: not found Allen -- Time is the best teacher.
