like an updated version of KDE or Konqueror. Or must I go to the KDE web site and work from there?
I downloaded the entire 527 MB from one of the mirrors at: http://download.kde.org/download.php?url=stable/3.4.2/SuSE/ix86/9.3/ then pointed YaST to it ("change source of installation" > add > local directory > your-download-directory) and when I start up install/remove software, i see all the newly available 3.42 stuff in blue, so I change all of their tick marks to the upgrade symbol (a green-grey lightning bolt, sort of) and then click okay (or whatever) and all is done. You may also be able to simply point your YaST to the FTP server, but I had timeout problems with direct online updates so downloaded everything. -- (o- Penguin #395953 lives at http://samvit.org //\ subsisting on ancient Indian wisdom ...
