Hello!
First of all, congratulations for this milestone, I just can't wait to test it!
I read sometime ago a discussion about the default Kernel in Leap 42.1 and I saw some suggestions about 4.1 LTS. However, this Leap built is showing 3.12.43-4. Did I miss something? Was the default kernel version of Leap already defined or is it just a temporary version?
Thanks, Ronan
Ronan, This is the very first build/boot up of Leap with sources coming straight from SLES 12 for everything. I don't think a single SR has even been pushed to it yet. ie. the request list is empty: https://build.opensuse.org/project/requests/openSUSE:42 The kernel team has agreed conceptually with 4.1 LTS being the kernel for Leap 42.1, but I think you're premature to expect anything except pure SLES 12 functionality at this point. The shockingly positive thing is a lot of Tumbleweed RPMs are being pulled in directly to Leap:42.1 and apparently running to some extent. I'm very surprised at how much is working, not by how little is working.
