After upgrading kernel-desktop from -28 to -29 my boot is halting with journalctl reporting that the systemd-remount-fs service couldn't find the UUID of my root partition on the disk.
This service works fine with -28 and all other kernels previously.
Has anyone else seen this bug?
It's an mkinitrd issue with btrfsprogs, see the archives for how to fix this by "hand" for now until it's fixed properly in the repo.

I am not sure it is the same cause, but I got the message from apper that there were around 1350 packages to update in my 13.1 B1 system, so I did. Now the system starts up very slowly and finally I get the log in screen. So I log in. I got the icons for starting up a KDE session, after that the screen remains black. I can go to the console with Ctrl+Alt+F1 and login, but "init 3" hangs the system. -- fr.gr.
