I've been building and packaging it for tiff for Hylafax+ for a couple years. Actually I supplied and maintain that one in the graphics repo. No problems but I also never actually USE the jbig support specifically. I use the tiff and ghostpdl and hylafax+ all with jbig support enabled, a lot and in heavy production, but not specifically jbig faxes or pdfs so far. This means we jbigkit can be included in openSUSE and JBIG support can be enabled in Splix.
I assume the legal team will still need to take a look at this. There is a jbigkit package in OBS:Graphics. Is it stable enough to be submitted to factory?
