[10-23-11 19:17]: Please realize that there are users who don't want that systemd crap. And users that do want systemd, which is not crap! It works for me. If users want it then they can switch actively but don't force the others. There are use cases beyond rebooting again and again while watching the stopwatch ... If it becomes the standard, and appears it will, you will have the opportunity to install your choice, probably w/o support. And if I want systemd, it will be there for me and I will not have to switch.
Why would one continually reboot a linux system?
Because, Patrick, if you have ever done a 'zypper up' then you may get a message stating that some running files have been updated and you may want to restart them. And the quickest way is to reboot.
You are just making noise and I am facilitating it but will no longer!
Yes, you are (making noise). And I don't understand why you are so blindly antagonistic to anything you perceive as expressing some criticism of openSUSE.
