Case 1: I have 11.3 in one machine and I'll keep Tumbleweeding it. Where will this lead me to? And for how long?
Once 11.4 is out, you keep the tumbleweed repos, remove the 11.3 repos and add the 11.4 repos. Then you keep "zypper dup"'ing. Same procedure, once 11.5 comes out: remove 11.4 repos and add 11.5 => zypper dup.
Case 2: I install 11.4 on another machine and then keep Tumbleweeding that. Where will this lead me to? And for how long?
It will not be the same as the 11.3 based one, but will become similar over time.
What I'd like is like to jump on one train and stay there.
Then Tumbleweed is for you. Disclaimer: this is how I understood the issues.
