Yes please. In this case, the command would be # bash -x /usr/lib/module-init-tools/weak-modules2 \ --add-kmp kmp-desktop-1.1_2.6.31_rc9_7-1.14 &>log
Does the "FATAL: Could not open /boot/System.map-" message appear in the log file if you run the command?
AMD64x2-SFN1:/home/oddball # bash -x /usr/lib/module-init-tools/weak-modules2 \ --add-kmp kmp-desktop-1.1_2.6.31_rc9_7-1.14 &>log AMD64x2-SFN1:/home/oddball #
This is all that happened. Or the log should appear somewhere else?
The command should be typed on a single line without the '\'. The '\' is just to signify that the command was split over two lines. The log should appear in whatever directory it was run in.
