Get it from FACTORY.
OK, I understand that it should be available for the 11.2 release which means that for the moment this is a bug of MS6.
Should I file a bug-report?
it is available in openSUSE:Factory
btw, why not just try vlc? It is available and already built for 11.2. http://download.videolan.org/pub/vlc/SuSE/11.2/
And has been since the very early days of 11.2 development. And will continue to be so with the next cycle for 11.3.

It would be even better if a phonon-backend-vlc[0] was built as well.. At this point xine-lib from packman works so all multimedia is working in KDE. However, if that would break, multimedia would not be playable in factory. Since you build vlc for factory, a vlc backend would be very nice..
