Hi Stanislav,
The 2nd one, sorry for confusion. I've not seen 1st one yet.
The 1st one can most easily be reproduced by adding some repositories like packman, and then checking for upgrades in YaST and kupdateapplet. YaSt displays available upgrades, updateapplet does not (for me at least).
At least RC1 does not seem to work well, so I expect a new build to be published.
Sounds good to me - the final version should look quite nice, I like where the KDE4 direction is going. So 11.1 really should be a good one.
Is there a reason why packagekit is the standard backend and not zypper?
packagekit is upstream, for GNOME we already use the upstream applet.
Maybe I'll have a look at the GNOME updater applet, see if it can be made to work with KDE. Thanks for your comments, Henning -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
