I want to use my list of repositories that I've currently got setup on one box to another (so I don't have to do all that typing). What do I need to copy over from one machine to another so that I can use machine #1's list of repos to update machine #2?
a zypper lr --export myrepos.repo in the source machine.
copy myrepos.repo to the target machine, and then
zypper ar -r myrepos.repo
done ;)
HTH,
Thanks...I tried this and on import on the 2nd machine I got:
Unexpected exception Url scheme is a required component Pleae file a bug report about this
If you've got ssh working # scp <box1>:/etc/zypp/repos.d/* <box2>:/etc/zypp/repos.d/ I do this frequently to several boxes - as recently as last night copying the 11.0 repos, even from x86_64 to x86 boxes. I backed up the factory repos to another directory as I've had conflicts with mixed repos in the past. # zypper ref # zypper dup No conflicts reported updating from factory to 11.0 GM.
