Quite some people on LinuxTag asked for a USB image for showing openSUSE around. So I think I'll try to create a non-installable USB image as time permits (possibly post-GA)
How about making openSUSE liveUSB by automating syslinux, adding modified initrd and copying LiveCD image as shown here : [0]. I've tried this with different size of USB disk without problem. You may have different approach for making openSUSE liveUSB, so, look at this response as another idea beside yours :-) After playing some moment with openSUSE liveUSB, I most likely encourage to add this feature into 11.0. Remember, while launching 10.3, it's a delay about a month for LiveCD iso. If LiveUSB could not deal with final release of 11.0 on June 19, it's still interesting to wait for a while.
