* Java for Distribution building
We're currently building java-1_4_2-sun and the suggestion was to switch to java-1_5_0-sun.
Please let's do that, and as soon as possible so that we've got enough time to fix the fallout (if any). Daniel, what do you think?
cheers, Sonja
JPackage still uses 1.4.2 for the upcoming 1.7 version and I think we should too. What advantage would using 1.5.0 for building have? I don't really see any. When a package needs Java >= 1.5.0 it's always possible to use java-1.5.0-devel as a BuildRequirement. Using -source 1.4 -target 1.4 would make 1.4.2 compatible class files -- granted ... but it would be necessary to adjust every java spec file but the ones that need Java >= 1.5.0 ...
