Just to let you know that we are working on getting a grant to fund a database reporter and to make connectivity easier between OO.org and free databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL etc. Not certain but £3000 is going into the feasibility and we have a good working relationship with the OO.org project and Birmingham Uni computing department on this. So there is hope! OpenOffice.Org 1.0 Resource Kit by Solveig Haugland, Floyd Jones obtain from Amazon.com, has the definitive book on OO.org. Every school library should have a copy.

Does anyone know of any good Open Office Tutorial / Training materials which would be suitable to give to staff as a crash course to OO.org from MS Office?
I have been rolling out machines, but the current snag seems to be training.
Thanks
