Hi there.
I'm wondering if any of you can help me? I have been delegated with the task of formulating a test of sorts for prospective ICT technicians (2), and though the school now runs some sort of testing itself (though I don't know what they do yet) are there any suggestions as to what I can do?
Have any of you been to an interview in a school for an ICT position, and if so, what did you get "tested" on? Are there any web sites that give templates for tests etc?
Just wondering.
Thanks,
Paul
I remember hearing of one place who gave all prospective employees a copy of the company logo and the Postscript manual and gave them 1 hour to learn enough of the language to recreate the logo. This may be a bit OTT though. If the job's going to be for an ICT (must be more complicated than when I did it cos it's got an extra letter now) technician, maybe you could come up with some fault-finding excersized - both H/W and S/W. -- Gary Stainburn This email does not contain private or confidential material as it may be snooped on by interested government parties for unknown and undisclosed purposes - Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act, 2000
