Hi, I use suse 7.2 as CUPS based printer servers. My version of CUPS does not recognise my new colour printer (Epson C62). I do not want to compile and install a newer version of CUPS (not enough resources on box - major hassle). Is there any easy way to make CUPS recognise my printer? So far I have ocnfigured CUPS using YAST2. I have tried editing the cupsd.conf file in /etc/cups. This seemed to work in that from windows I could 'see' the network printer and idstall the drivers from the manufacturer but when I tried to print nothing would come out of the printer. My laser running on lp0 works fine but lp1 does not print anything. Many thanks Darren Garside Freshford Primary School
