What's impractical about static IP's, you can get DHCP to give each machine the same IP using the lan cards MAC address. Rob At 12:05 22/04/02 +0100, you wrote:
We have squid running on a Proxy Server which works great, however we would like to be able to switch internet access off by the room. Ideally using the netbios names to identify the machines as we have come to the conclusion that using static IPs is impracticable. We would also like teachers to have access to switch this access on and off.
Can anyone HELP!
cheers
