for built rpms to arrive in the physical repository faster, is there a reason for this often takes more than 8 hours. If I need to physically test a package I've just built I have to wait until the next day.
Huh? You can download the built package. No need for publishing.
Greetings, Stephan
Ok I've just worked out how to download it, I could never get it right before, but installing it from a local repository isn't the same as a proper installation. Why do packages take such a long time to load into the physical repository anyway?
because createrepo is doing lot of IO.
Thanks, so if lot's of packages are publishing it causes the slow down. Now I understand. Dave P -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
