Hello,
there was no official answer to the SuSE 9.3 topic. Is there a chance to get SuSE 9.3 back into the buildservice or is the only alternative to setup an own buildservice?
Yes, this is the only option.
except you tell me that you (and others) want to maintain the security fixes in the build service ;)
I would have no problem on doing that, if you guys finally decide that's a good idea.
Try to find a group who is able to do it and I create a OBS project for it .. I think it is quite important to define first how these security updates should get made, either via classic SUSE way (only security fix, no version update) to avoid any new problems for the users or via version updates. In the later case there should be some rule what limits it IMHO, otherwise you risk to reach the size of a complete distribution easily. bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nrnberg) email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
