This is a problem for openSUSE users.
It worked for the previous version of firefox. Now it doesn't work. You can't > point the finger at packman for a change that was made at openSUSE.
If you could point at an openSUSE package that was broken by the latest firefox esr update, then it would be an openSUSE problem. There's an out of tree Broadcom driver also on packman that breaks often when the kAPI changes. Would you place the blame on openSUSE for updating the kernel?
If you don't want to fix it, then close this bug with WONTFIX, and maybe a clear statement that the best fix would be a packman change.
I can't speak for the maintainer, but that's what I would do.
But let's at least be clear, and not end with vague statements where everyone tries to pass the blame.
