If you could point at an openSUSE package that was broken by the latest firefox
esr update, then it would be an openSUSE problem.
There's an out of tree Broadcom driver also on packman that breaks often when
the kAPI changes. Would you place the blame on openSUSE for updating the
kernel?

I can't speak for the maintainer, but that's what I would do.

> But let's at least be clear, and not end with vague statements where everyone tries to pass the blame.

I thought the statement was quite explicit.
In any case the packman package has now been updated. The fix should reach the
mirrors in the next few days.
