With NVIDIA being primary GPU, both GPUs active and using 'prime-select intel' after running
xrandr --setprovideroutputsource modesetting NVIDIA-0
result is: ...
If it can be done manually, it should have been done automatically by the patch. So something seems to be wrong with it...
Ok. Could be related to "nvidia". Need to try also with "nouveau" driver.
After running 'prime-select nvidia' I observe a blank screen.
The prime-select script copies the /etc/prime/xorg.conf into /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-nvidia.conf (and changes the PCI ID inside). The /etc/prime/xorg.conf contains "Device" section with the "intel" driver. Maybe it should be "modesetting" nowadays?
Tried this already. No change. But I'm not sure I fully understand when one should use this option. I mean which GPU should be the primary one configured in Firmware then? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
