http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1051345 Bug ID: 1051345 Summary: SMPlayer fails to play several video formats (MPV don't) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.3 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: itaranto7@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- SMPlayer fails to play video files like mp4 and avi and audio files like wav, mp3 and ogg (they are the only I got at hand). The error is always the same: "Option ao: filter name expected. Error parsing option ao (option could not be parsed) Setting command line option '--ao=pulse,,' failed. Exiting... (Fatal error)" It seems a command line option for MPV is being passed incorrectly. I tried with MPV on the above formats and it works fine. So, this makes me think that maybe the is an inconsistency between SMPlayer and MPV versions which is causing the breakage. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
