http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1046258 Bug ID: 1046258 Summary: Kernel packaging tool does not create config.add.tar.bz2 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.3 Hardware: All OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: cattelan@thebarn.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 730449 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=730449&action=edit Proposed fix. Following the instructions in the kernel-source/README the scripts/tar-up.sh script does not actually populate the config.addon.tar.bz2. The reason is that the files are not included in the list of file to package. This seems to be an oversight in that the config.addons dir is not scanned for files. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
