Proposed fix.
Following the instructions in the kernel-source/README the scripts/tar-up.sh
script does not actually populate the config.addon.tar.bz2.
The reason is that the files are not included in the list of file to package.
This seems to be an oversight in that the config.addons dir is not scanned for
files.
