We are still confused exactly what and where is segfaulting here.
If it is YaST, you get dumped back to linuxrc (text mode) with the red "An
error has occurred" pop-up. But you do not get any information (at least
nothing immediately visible to the user) about a signal. OTOH if you abort the
installation successfully, you also end up in linuxrc with that "An error has
occurred" pop-up.
If the segfault is in linuxrc, it restarts itself and shows a message about a
signal. Is this what happened?
