Okay, so taking your other bug into account, it seems the machine is weird
indeed.
At this point, there isn't really anything we can do anymore. You can try newer
versions of pieces such as the kernel, and see which component of the
distribution has been updated to a new version that breaks your screen.
But you'd have to bisect the git history of the offending code yourself. We
can't do that as we don't have your system. In fact, we only have a system that
works as expected.
So I'm closing this bug now because we have no way of debugging it. If you do
happen to identify what exactly makes Tumbleweed break on your system, feel
free to reopen the bug. We'll be very happy to include a fix for your machine,
once one is known.
