I have tried the stock kernel and upgraded to kernel 4.6.0.4 from the openSUSE stable kernel repository. The touchpad is not usable and the KDE touchpad module is greyed out. I have applied a workaround found by adding psmouse.proto=exps to the kernel boot but that just give basic mouse features.
