http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=970806 Bug ID: 970806 Summary: Can't get wicked to run wpa_supplicant my way Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: 2015* Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: michal.hrusecky@opensuse.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 668765 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=668765&action=edit My WiFi configuration I used to use statically configured wpa_supplicant on my notebook and if needed connected to it using wpa_gui to add temporal local network. This was represented by option WIRELESS_WPA_CONF='/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf' in ifcfg file. Haven't used openSUSE on notebook for a while and nowadays this setup doesn't work anymore. When network is started, wpa_supplicant doesn't connect to any network although they are specified in configuration file and wpa_gui can't connect to it (I suspect because of -u option). I tried to do various modifications to fix it, but with no success. Am I missing some option or is this setup not supported anymore? If later, can you please make it possible again to use it? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
