My WiFi configuration
I used to use statically configured wpa_supplicant on my notebook and if needed
connected to it using wpa_gui to add temporal local network. This was
represented by option
WIRELESS_WPA_CONF='/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf' in ifcfg file.
Haven't used openSUSE on notebook for a while and nowadays this setup doesn't
work anymore. When network is started, wpa_supplicant doesn't connect to any
network although they are specified in configuration file and wpa_gui can't
connect to it (I suspect because of -u option). I tried to do various
modifications to fix it, but with no success. Am I missing some option or is
this setup not supported anymore? If later, can you please make it possible
again to use it?
