One thing I see in most crashes, be it jvm, libreoffice or now also other 'java
related packages', is that time related functions are part of the traces.
ant-junit for example crashed with:
[ 57s] # JRE version: OpenJDK Runtime Environment (8.0_65-b17) (build
1.8.0_65-b17)
[ 57s] # Java VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (25.65-b01 mixed mode linux-amd64
compressed oops)
[ 57s] # Problematic frame:
[ 57s] # C [linux-vdso.so.1+0xc9b] clock_gettime+0x1fb
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
in JVM we see:
[ 653s] [javac] # Problematic frame:
[ 653s] [javac] # C [linux-vdso.so.1+0xe45] __vdso_gettimeofday+0x125
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
