--- Comment #16 from Theo Chatzimichos
@theo,
one thing I don't get, is why does this come forward now?
SLES 11 is old and saltstack on sles is also longer available...
Since when did this change? just curious observation....?
I am using the systemsmanagement:saltstack package in the SLE11 machines. I started using saltstack in production a couple of weeks ago, and before we were having these conversations I had no idea what was wrong on my machines (it was low priority for me at that point to investigate what was wrong)
Will try to do my best to fix it.
Highly appreciated (In reply to Niels Abspoel from comment #15)
Could you provide the os-release files for sles 11 sp3 and sles 11 sp4 otherwise I can't test a patch.
sle11sp3 doesn't have /etc/os-release. This is the output of a SLE11SP4 machine: NAME="SLES" VERSION="11.4" VERSION_ID="11.4" PRETTY_NAME="SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP4" ID="sles" ANSI_COLOR="0;32" CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:suse:sles:11:4" It was an honest mistake that I didn't provide it before, I was perfectly sure that both sle11sp3 and sle11sp4 don't have /etc/os-release, but apparently I was wrong
I don't have access to a sles 11 sp3 or sles 11 sp4 system. I'm not a suse engineer.
Ping me on IRC please, I suppose we can sort it out somehow -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
