In short, it doesn't work.
Amarok is trying to make contact to
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/api. php?action=query&prop=langlinks&titles=<stuff>&format=xml&lllimit=100&redirec ts=1
But either that doesn't return anything useful (anymore), or the information is misinterpreted.
This has been reported upstream too: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349313 Apparently, Wikipedia redirects are not handled correctly when the widget doesn't use SSL. An option to do that has been added only after 2.8 was released, it is enabled by default and "fixes" the issue. I created a package with that patch, and it works for me (as long as I don't disable the newly added "Use SSL" option). You can find packages here: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/wolfi323:/branches:/KDE:/Ext... I'll submit them shortly, I just want to check first whether 13.1 is also affected. Feel free to try them meanwhile and give feedback...
Tried old 13.1 package on 13.2: nope. The packman package doesn't do it either.
The package on Packman is exactly the same as the one in KDE:Extra. And this is probably no bug in Amarok itself but caused by something else, so the 13.1 package obviously doesn't work either on 13.2. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
