It seems not hardware related. It happened mostly on three machines and for
some others very sporadically. It seems more related to I/O (mainly NFS) or
frequent remote logins (main differences to other servers/machines). This was
all with systemd-208.
Here the info for the three machines:
Hardware name: ASUSTek Computer INC. RS300-E7-PS4/P8B-E Series, BIOS 5008
10/24/2012
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1270 V2 @ 3.50GHz
Stepping: 9
Hardware name: Supermicro H8DGU/H8DGU, BIOS 1.0a 07/01/2010
CPU: AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 6136
Stepping: 1
Hardware name: Dell Inc. Precision WorkStation 390 /0DN075, BIOS 2.0.8
10/24/2006
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz
Stepping: 6
With systemd-210 I have seen it only once until now.
