We always ship the stripped debug parts in separate -debuginfo packages for quite a while (because of size)
But this time symbols are stripped too. Stripping symbols and debuginfo are independent actions.
and this is usually working fine with gdb (as long as versions match) so it might be a problem with DrKonqi
GDB gives me a warning, as you can see, not because debuginfo is elsewhere but because symbols are stripped. This warning is fatal for DrKonqi.
or with the debuginfo packages not having the correct versions.
What is the actual program you want to debug? And how do you try it?
