openSUSE13.2 lxde menu broken with package ggz-client-libs installed
This seems to be a problem of the DTD/XML-Versions in the menu system. I also
had this problem with the LXDE menu, and I fixed in in this way:
The original version of the file
/etc/xdg/menus/ggz.menu
was "DTD Menu 0.8" (*all* other files had "DTD Menu 1.0").
I edited the header of this file (as root) to:
<!DOCTYPE Menu PUBLIC "-//freedesktop//DTD Menu 1.0//EN"
Then I cleared the menu-cache, logged in to openSUSE 13.2 LXDE, and everything
worked fine (this fix worked for me on 3 different computers with openSUSE 13.2
LXDE).
LXDE seems to be sensitive for the DTD/XML-versions of them menu system (the
other desktop environments had no problems at all).
kind regards
