The problem is known and will be fixed in exiv2 0.25 (release tba), see http://dev.exiv2.org/issues/960 http://dev.exiv2.org/issues/1002 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=340373 A patch has been submitted to X11:common:Factory/exiv2 (see https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/284826 ).
