A buffer overflow in exiv2 is causing e.g. digikam (or any other tool using libexiv2 including the exiv2 binary itself) to crash when scanning certain videos for exiv metadata. The problem is known and will be fixed in exiv2 0.25 (release tba), see http://dev.exiv2.org/issues/960 http://dev.exiv2.org/issues/1002 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=340373 A patch has been submitted to X11:common:Factory/exiv2 (see https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/284826 ). It would be nice to get this released as a 13.2 maintenance update, too.
