I guess your machine has a TRRS headset jack, thus the headphone jack might be
connected to the mic internally. So, it's no wonder that a mic gets some
signal and sent to analog loopback when using a headphone jack.
Though, in the codec design level, this shouldn't happen; the mixer widget has
a mute for each input source and it's still muted in your case. Maybe Sony
implemented some vendor-specific way to control the headset mic,
noise-canceling or such a thing. We cannot know it, unfortunately. It's a
pretty vendor-specific internal, after all.
That said, if setting "Mic" volume to 0 fixes the issue, it's the valid
solution :)
