BIOS Ver. F1 USB-2.0 and 3.0 enabled. Logitech USB keyboard and USB mouse both connected to the two USB 2.0 ports above the PS/2-socket. Installing of openSUSE 13.1 from DVD (Nov.2013) fails at "Welcome, Language, Keybord layout; License Agreement" due to total failure of the keyboard and mouse connected to the USB 2.0 ports. Keyboard and mouse work with Linux though the USB 3.0 ports. This, however, not with WINDOWS-7. With WINDOWS-7 function keyboard and mouse as provided on the two USB 2.0 ports. Installation of NONE openSUSE version is possible on this machine. Knoppix 7.2.0 works. GParted V18.0-1 functions. Where is the error? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. openSUSE-13.1 DVD Installation 2. Keyboard works in the selection of languages and installation. 3. The installation stops because the keyboard and mouse no longer work. 4. No response of the keyboard and mouse. Actual Results: I have turned off the PC with the power switch. Expected Results: I expect a normal installation, as I have often experienced. I expect a normal function of the keyboard and mouse connected to the provided USB 2.0 ports. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
